Lenape Indian Program this Saturday at Hillsborough Library

Did you know that your Somerset County Library Card is good at any of our eight libraries?  It is your admission to programs (though some require preregistration) as well as a ticket to our combined book and media resources -- which you can place on Hold and have delivered to your local branch.

This Saturday the Hillsborough Library is hosting a wonderful Lenape program.  The program is FREE but Registration is required.

Lenape-Delaware Indian Heritage: Ages 6+

For children ages 6+, teens, and adults.    Archaeologist and author, John Kraft, will discuss the life of the Lenape-Delaware people who once populated New Jersey and the surrounding area.  He will talk about Lenape daily life, legends, art, religious beliefs, customs, traditions and system of government.  There will be a “hands on” display of Lenape artifacts.
