Bookclubs at the Library & Science Saturdays at the Morris Museum

@ the Library --Bookclubs!  
Talk It Up  Book Discussion Group  (Limited to students in grades 5 - 8) Tuesday, November 16  from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm  Registration Required.   Come help us pick next year’s books!  
A slide show of books will be presented by a librarian and participants will be given an opportunity to present their favorite books as well. Participants will then select the 10 books to be read for our 2011 Talk It Up book discussions.

Calling all 3rd and 4th graders who enjoy books. If you love to read chapter books, 
this is the book club for you!  Parents or caregivers of participants
are welcome to join in the discussion. 
Reserve your copy early!  
The four Hatford brothers were expecting three boys to move into the house 
where their best friends, the Bensons, used to live.  Instead they got the Malloy 
girls.  What will happen to the neighborhood?



Rocket Readers Best in Show for Rotten Ralph by Jack Gantos  
(Limited to grades 1-3)  
Tuesday, November 30  
from 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm. 
Registration begins November 16.  An exciting program for brand new readers! Students should read the book prior to the program.  Copies of the book will be available at the Youth Services Reference Desk. 
Rotten Ralph worries that his cousin Perfect Percy will steal the spotlight at the u
pcoming cat show. Ralph is out of shape and desperate enough to go along with 
Sarah's fitness and beauty routines. But on show day Ralph remembers his rotten roots just in time.  Join us for a book discussion and activity!
