Great program for kids on Astronomy TODAY at the Children’s Museum. Teens looking for some quick Volunteer Hours?–the Children’s Museum could use help today and in the next few weeks. Also Immunization Info. Session coming up at Bound Brook Library.

The Children’s Museum’s next program, Astronomy and Flight Day, takes place this Saturday March 23, 2013, from 10AM to 3PM.
Themed activities for the day include a Martian Lander, where kids try to land an egg safely using a parachute and padding, balloon rockets, Meteor Rocket (outdoor, weather and wind permitting), paper airplanes, foam boomerangs, viewing through a telescope, balsa gliders and our new bicycle wheel centripetal force exhibit. include paper airplane construction, balsa gliders, balloon rockets, boomerangs, Martian Lander construction, morning and afternoon launches of our ‘meteor rocket’, and our new bicycle wheel centripetal force exhibit.
They’ll also have the standing exhibits; bubble machine, Bernoulli blower, and Odyssey of the Spheres Audio kinetic exhibit.
Teen volunteers are welcomed!  Please 908-725-4677 if you can come by and help out – or just show up and give them a hand!
This program is drop-in – both kids and teen volunteers can come and go anytime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
